This is to certify that the German subject Friedrich Wilhelm Richard Kupsch died at Shanghai on the 11th November 1916 without leaving a Last Will or a letter of instruction regarding his estate.

In such case the German Law prescribes that the estate of the deceased is to be divided amoung his surviving wife and his children at the ratio of for the wife and for

the children.
